About Me - (a few random things in a very random order)
- Born on a rainy Wednesday afternoon in November
- Always been the artistic creative type
- on the "friendly" island of Sint Maarten located in the Caribbean, Dutch West Indies
- The same island with a government who told me photography is not a real career and i will never succeed if i pursue it. They said the same about my other choice and passion: Marine Biology. Now they hire foreigners to do the same jobs for thousands extra. when they could have had me..a local person. SO MUCH for support from the island u are from. has taught me ALOT!!!
- Held my first camera when i was 7 and i STILL have it!!
- Infatuated with gadgets...don't need jewelry..just gadgets!!!
- I am a fulltime freelance creative professional photographer and photo retoucher.
- I am lucky as hell to have a soulmate boyfriend/housemate/bestfriend/godsend/teacher
- i'm very much so a perfectionist
- oddly enough very much of a nihilist; Nietzsche being one of my favourite philosophers, Descartes being the other.
- philosophy yes philosophy infatuates me..it always has....
- dreamed about working for Vogue or National geographic at age 10
- next to wanting to save whales
- instead studied English language and literature
- in the end (almost 20 years later) i STILL prefer photography
- i still want to save whales
- still love Shakespeare and Hemingway
- i do NOTHING with my study...surprise surprise!!! passion is priority!!
- still enjoy writing prose, poetry and other scribblings of vast and otherwise endless thought
- i love books especially biographies, vintage books, art books and yes of course photography books
- i have always been and still am inspired by the likes of Tori Amos, MJ Keenan, Brian Warner & Trent Reznor
- as well as other legends; Jim Morrison, Hendrix, Simon & Garfunkel, Led Zeppelin, Joy Division and more. i LOVE music!
- why do i mention this? because music is food for the soul and when my soul is content, i create.
- i also always listen to loads of music when shooting and post processing. i cannot do without it.
- fave photogs? Miles Aldridge, Anton Corbijn, Ellen Von Unwerth, Lara Jade
- i believe in shamanism .....i started out with a combination of buddhism and wicca
- bit of a hippie
- definitely a tree hugger
- yes i believe in 2012; the Mayans. yes the entire deal.
- i love cats, the feline.
- they protect me
- they always have
- been commissioned for Live bands, Small Gatherings, Events, Parties, Models, Theatrical shows, Portraits (Kids, Babies and Pets), Head Shots and website photography.
- taking risks in photography is something i very much enjoy
- nothing beats actual experience
- having said that, do not call me an artist.
- art these days has lost its true meaning and artistic value
- am i a jack of all trades ?
- don't think so and don't want to be
- besides that..i'd be a Jane not a Jack.
- do i put myself into a box when it comes to which genre photography i love ?
- no i don't, why should i?
- i shoot what i like, what is interesting and what is according to me most important to capture.

I'm always looking for creative people to work with, please feel free to contact me for any types of possible collaborations, but please take note, i only do TFCD/TFP work based on whether or not you have a look/skill I'd like to use.
DO NOT contact me about free work - Photographers need to eat too!! I had my free years..should have contacted me then or kept your appointments with me. too little..too late.
such is life. My work creates many smiles but newsflash - smiles do not pay bills.
Photographic Images are timeless and last forever - do not be cheap about paying for this service. If you ARE cheap and would like to get your picture taken please look up your local little passport photo studio and have them do it for you - i am sure they can do a GREAT job, provide you with GREAT service and most importantly make you feel like a model with their superb QUALITY. Contact ME if you'd actually like to have photos which are worth it and DO make you feel like a million bucks. It is my job to make you look and feel great about being photographed. Call me rude, call me interesting...whatever...I'm honest and damn good at what I do.

If you cannot tolerate, accept or understand the way i express myself, then u are not the customer i am looking for. good luck on your boring uninteresting empty sheeple ventures, they will get u nowhere fortunately!
